Material: Silk

This pattern, known as kikko-tsunagi (linked hexagons), is inspired by the shape of a tortoise shell.

In Japan, tortoises have long been believed to live for tens of thousands of years, making this pattern a symbol of longevity and good fortune.

Whilst the geometric motifs are orderly, subtle colours like pale green, purple, gold, and silver stand out against the background, where numerous fine silk threads run horizontally, enhancing its elegance.

This item includes a stick and string for display.

Size: 110×30cm (not including fringes)
