This kimono, known as a Furisode, and is worn at coming-of-age ceremonies to celebrate 20 years of age. It is also characterized by long sleeves that touch the ground.
 
The cherry blossom pattern, which is as popular as the plum and chrysanthemum patterns, is woven into the fabric of the kimono, so if you look closely at the black background, the cherry blossom pattern will stand out.
In addition, many cherry blossom motifs are drawn flowing throughout the black background, making the gorgeousness even more outstanding.
 
The standard for looking at the beauty of kimonos is that it becomes one picture when you spread out and hung on a kimono stand called an ikō. The beauty of kimonos when it is unfolded as a single piece, and the expression of the pattern that stands out when worn by a person, are all aspects of the kimono's appeal.
 
The inner fabric (lining), called Hakkake, is dyed red in areas that are visible due to movement, such as the hem and sleeve edges, creating a vivid contrast with the black kimono.
